Smart Thermostats Offer Money Saving Opportunities
According to research from Parks Associates, 45% of smart thermostat owners are getting a discount from their energy provider. Other devices that are earning energy discounts include: smart light bulbs, smart plugs, smart lighting control systems, and smart in-wall outlets. Discounts and rebates from energy providers are making smart home technologies more affordable in the long run.
Parks Associates will be exploring this data at the Smart Energy Summit in February. Key speakers will participate in panels to discuss energy market strategies to drive consumer engagement.
